상품설명
Born from the imagination of two girls, Anka, portrait photographer (founder of Ankalab Studio in Paris) and influential yoga teacher Helene Duval (founder of YUJ brand), YOGASM is the first art book dedicated to yoga in its form the purest and most natural. It brings together the images of 13 master-yogis who accepted to expose themselves, without prejudices, in front of Anka's objective. The original nakedness in which they indulge is a celebration of the freedom of the body. "The Body Nothing is more pure, more aesthetic than the naked body, thus creating the harmony of forms, at this moment". Anka. Freedom goes far beyond form, this photographic project subtly presents the inner state opposed to the ego. The choice to photograph yogis is not trivial; these women and men have attained this state of freedom consciousness by taking the inseparable paths of love, knowledge, joy and beauty. This unique book highlights this ancestral practice, through artistic photos, mostly in Black and White, with the intention of offering a contemporary reading of Yoga, especially Yoga in France.
