Create an amazing geyser (up to 30 feet high!) using the included candy & a bottle of soda. From the Manufacturer Steve Spangler’s Geyser Tube The Geyser Tube was created to allow you to safely load and dispense the candy into the soda so that you can control the timing and create the most incredible soda eruption possible. Fun with Friends Explore the science of soda with this fun science toy. Pull your friends together and use MENTOS mints to release the fizz hidden inside a bottle of soda. Test different types of soda to see which one will create the highest geyser. Here’s a hint… diet soda isn’t sticky. Load the MENTOS A geyser tube can hold up to 7 MENTOS at a time, but you can trigger a geyser reaction with a single mint. Change the number of mints from launch to launch to see if the quantity makes a difference. Attach the Soda The Geyser Tube is designed to screw right on top of just about any size of soda bottle. Be careful not to accidentally pull the red pin when you are screwing it onto the bottle. Prepare for Launch 3, 2, 1… Launch! Quickly pull the pin & the MENTOS will drop right into the carbonated soda. The carbonation in the soda is released in an instant to form your amazing soda powered geyser. S.T.E.M.
