Born a human slave named Sakkara, Purgatori became an avenging vampire, consumed by a quest for power. Because the blood of Fallen Angels flows in her veins, she is the only one of her kind, unique in all the cosmos in origin, anger and uncompromising hunger. But she has always had conflicting motivations: given the choice between power and revenge, she selected revenge every time -- especially in her complex love/hate relationship with Lady Death. She recently discovered an ancient Egyptian prophecy that promises: "In the final days of mankind, her army will blacken the sky!" In the end all shall fear Purgatori the Vampire and her demonic rise to Godhood.
