Plain bearing sheaves are ideal for halyards and other applications where high static loads are likely to be encountered. Ideal for applications where lines (rope or wire) need to be led through decks, bulkheads or spars minimizing friction and chafing. Narrow exit blocks such as RF452, RF453, RF568 and RF569 are typically used in dinghy spars for control lines such as outhauls. The external tabs can be formed to fit the spar profile before fastening. RF568 and RF569 exit blocks, when mounted in an inverted position, are frequently used as upright leads. Grade 316 stainless steel cheeks. Maximum Working Load: 1100 lbs. Breaking Load: 2200 lbs. Sheave Diameter: 1-9/16". Maximum Wire: 3/16". Max. Rope: 3/8".
