Product Description Inuyasha The Final Act Set 2 (BD) Kagome finds her worlds colliding as she struggles to both fight alongside Inuyasha in the past and pass the exam to get into her high school of choice in the present. But with her spiritual powers sealed away, how will she purify the Shikon Jewel before Naraku can absorb it forever? As the battle enters its final stages, Inuyasha and his friends find their strength, loyalties and will to live pushed to impossible limits. And in the end, the final key to Naraku’s and the Jewel’s destruction may lie in nothing more—and nothing less—than the trust between a half demon and a girl from the future. ]]> Amazon.com After nearly 10 years, 193 episodes, and four theatrical features, Rumiko Takahashi's "feudal fairy tale" InuYasha reaches its conclusion. The lines for the ultimate battle between good and evil are drawn: on one side, the half-demon Naraku, who has reunited the enormously powerful shards of the magical Shikkon Jewel; on the other, modern schoolgirl Kagome, the half-demon InuYasha, and their friends--warrior Sango and her brother Kohaku, monk Miroku, and Shippo the fox-demon. Even InuYasha's aloof half-brother Sesshoumaru joins Naraku's foes. As the tale builds to the climactic battle, each character is tested and must prove worthy of the trust and love the others have bestowed. Kagome and InuYasha face the most dire perils, and their triumph reflects the strength of the bond they share. Director Yasunao Aoki uses all the special effects at his disposal as InuYasha and Sesshoumaru develop ever-more fantastic sword techniques, Kagome's magical arrows assume greater power, and Naraku's illusions grow more baroque. After so many battles, spells, lovers' spats, adventures, comic misunderstandings, and journeys through time and space, it's hard to bid farewell to these beloved characters. But the conclusion is a satisfying one, both for Takahashi's characters and her audience. Unlike Dorothy Gale, Kagome discovers that while there's no place like home, some places--and times--are better. (Rated Teen: violence, violence against women, grotesque imagery, brief nudity) --Charles Solomon (14. Pursuing Naraku, 15. A Legitimate Successor, 16. Hitomiko's Barrier, 17. Magatsuhi's Evil Thoughts, 18. A Single Important Event in Life, 19. Kohaku's Fragment, 20. Completing the Shikon no Tama, 21. Into the Body of Naraku, 22. Naraku--Enticement of Darkness, 23. Naraku--Lure of Light, 24. Naraku--A Transient Wish, 25. Unreachable Feelings, 26. To Tomorrow)
