The KEF R300 is the larger of the two bookshelf speakers offered in our R Series, and with more size comes more sound. The R300 bookshelf loudspeaker features 5 inch Uni-Q driver housed in a cabinet that was specifically designed to eliminate any coloration of sound or unwanted frequencies. This Uni-Q driver array offers pristine mid-range response, thanks to a braced magnesium/aluminum alloy cone and our Z-flex surround technology helping to properly project audio into your listening space. On top of all that, our \'tangerine\' waveguide ensures a wide and even dispersion without interference between the high-frequency and mid-frequency drivers. The R300 bookshelf speaker also features a 6.5 inch low-frequency driver below the Uni-Q array, which features a massive vented magnet assembly and a large, lightweight aluminium voice coil driving an inner hybrid cone. This setup ensures a clean, deep and uncompressed bass output with superb dynamics.
