Cell culture flasks from ASI are perfect for both short-term and long-term cultures of primary and secondary generation subcultures of cells. Their ergonomic design allows you to easily manipulate the cell cultures while keeping the contamination risk to a minimum at all times. All of our cell culture flasks are made of crystal grade polystyrene and feature polyethylene caps. Alkali Scientific offers a variety of flasks with variable culture growth surface area, volume, and cap design. The culture growth surface area is 75 Square Centimeter, with a volume of 250ml. The vented filter caps, fitted with breathable membranes, ensure the optimal levels of gas exchange for your cultures. These cell culture flasks are safe for use in all CO2 incubators, even for long-term usage. The short and wide design of the canted neck of the flask will allow you to easily pour and gain access to the growth surface of your cell culture and reduces the risk of accidental spills. The ramp from the canted neck to the growth surface prevents sloshing and allows for easier pouring. The neck has an opening wide enough as to allow you to easily insert cell scrapers with the blade parallel to the handle and windshield wiper style cell scrapers, with the blade perpendicular to the handle, as well as serological pipettes, even 10 ml or 25 ml ones. You can easily gain access to the corners of the flask and you won’t have to worry about losses thanks to the rectangular flask design.
