To embody its spirit in a pen, the artisans of Montegrappa have fashioned a form that encompasses the myriad symbols embedded in the story: the sun and the moon, actual pieces and symbols of the metals of alchemy, cartographer's drawing compass represented by the clip. The Alchemist Pen will be issued in an edition of 1987 fountain pens and roller balls in total, in gold, silver or resin, in honour of the year that the book was published.Montegrappa Alchemist Black Resin & Sterling Silver Fountain Pen Model# ISAKN3AC. This luxurious Italian pen is made of black celluloid body and cap with 925 Sterling silver accents, 18k gold nib. This is a fountain pen with a piston filling system that writes in black ink with a medium nib.
