Kimble Chase KIMAX Tall Form Nessler tubes are ideal for color comparison. They feature cap style stoppers that do not need to be removed to take readings. The shadow less bottom of each tube transmits undistorted light. The rings and legend are durable white enamel. Supplied in a matched set of 6 where the graduated ring scale of any of the tubes will not vary by more than 1.5 mm from that of any other tube within the set. These tubes meet requirements for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class A, Standard Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus, and the glass conforms to USP Type I requirements. They are made from 33 expansion borosilicate glass, which has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and very high resistance to chemical attack. Kimble Chase Life Science and Research Products manufactures scientific laboratory glassware under the Kimble Chase KIMAX brand.
