Hand forged in Japan from 1095 high carbon steel, heated, folded, hammered, until all imperfections have been hammered out. This Kawashima Steel classic lives on through this battle ready, fully functional sword. Be careful when handling, it is very sharp and has a real clay tempered Hamon with full polish. The edge is honed by Japanese Whetstone. The entire blade is made in Japan exclusively for the Swordsaxe brand. The rest of the sword parts and accessories are made in china. Swordsaxe is able to bring you the true cutting power of Japanese steel at an affordable price. Includes: maintenance kit, silk sword bag, reference guide, display box, and sword stand.
