Hello,My name is Zhu,we start to building bamboo fly rod since year 1996.This is Fine flamed cane,Silk red windings and silk black tipping on windings.The nice nickel silver ferrules are the truncated type and very well turned. Ferrules fit together perfectly, making a pop sound when pulled apart.reel seat with a beautiful wood insert.rod with a western style cork grip.Rod blanks have not any glue line.Cane is finished with three coats of high quality spar varnish. Comes with cloth sock and simple pvc tube. From the Land of the Legendary Tonkin Cane comes Zhus Rods. Zhus Rods has been building quality bamboo fly rods in the traditional American 6 strip style attributed to and developed by H.L.
