Wusthof Pro series was designed with chefs in mind and for the demanding professionals who work in the day-to-day high demands of the restaurant/food service industry. This collection features a full line of knives, precision stamped high-carbon stainless steel blades that offer the latest state of the art laser technology for blade consistency. This collection is NSF approved and features a Santoprene nonslip handle with finger guard, providing safety & pure comfort for all your cutting tasks. Made in Germany - Lifetime Warranty. For each job in the kitchen, it's important to use the right kind of knife. Unlike heavy cleavers used for butchering, the 8" Wusthof Pro Chinese Cleaver is lighter in weight with a thinner blade. With plenty of width for chopping through large vegetables including cabbage, lettuce and squash, plus boneless meats, the 8" cleaver is ideal for quick, efficient kitchen prep. The tapered cutting edge on each side of the cleaver ensures seamless, effortless slicing without a heavy drag when preparing stir-fries, chicken and fish dishes and vegetable trays. This knife was not designed for use with meat still containing bones; using this product with bones or joints may damage the blade.
