상품설명
The Rival Mark Replicated German S84 98 Bayonet is replicated from the S84 98 Bayonet used by the Germans on the end of the barrel of the Mauser M1898 rifle, during WWI and WWII. Introduced in 1915, this bayonet had no muzzle ring and was held firmly to the rifle barrel only by a long groove in the pommel. This bayonet is constructed of stainless steel with a black finish and a drop point style blade. A fuller runs down the blade to the tip to lighten the blade. The pommel, guard, and screws are also made of stainless steel. This bayonet handle has been made of wooden and stained brown leading to a blade that is so sharp it can be used as a regular fixed blade knife. Bayonets were used in close combat because they could be quickly pulled out of the enemy?s body to face the next opponent in a matter of seconds. Included is a nylon sheath with belt loop wear on your person as a hunting knife. Take a piece of replicated history home with you today. Please note that this is a replicated piece and may or may not fit on the Mauser M1898.
