Size Name:1/2"x36" 3pack Fibergalss Rebar is a high-strength glass fiber as a reinforcing material,unsaturated resin as the base material,and mixed with appropriate amount of adjuvant,By pultrusion,winding made of composite material. Product Features: Compare with the common rebar , Fibergalss Rebar has a Excellent mechanical properties. 1.High load capacity, tensile strength, rod strength is twice the same diameter rebar, but the quality of steel only 1/4. 2.Elastic modulus is stable, about steel 1/3 ~ 2/5. 3.Electric insulation, thermal expansion coefficient closer to the cement than steel. 4.Good corrosion resistance, suitable for use in wet or other corrosive environments such as water conservancy, bridges, docks and tunnels. 5.Low shear strength,ordinary glass fiber reinforced plastic shear strength of only 50 ~ 60MPa,with excellent cutting. 6.In performance and steel is basically similar and concrete has a good adhesion,but also has a high tensile strength and low shear strength,can be easily cut by a composite shield machine,without causing damage to the tool.
