상품설명
Glow in the dark watch lume designed for the re-luming / restoration of watch dials. WatchLume™ are suppliers of high grade phosphorescent, glow in the dark pigments and pre-mixed pastes that are used by professional watch dial (and hand!) restorers worldwide. ABOUT THIS KIT This kit includes 7 grams of VINTAGE PATINA glow in the dark pigment and 30 ml of our matte binder. Our vintage patina kit now comes with a syringe that contains a color tint. This allows you to add tint to the mix and achieve the exact color/tint of patina you require. We believe our glow in the dark powder is the brightest pigment available. It is much brighter than other products available on the internet and is up to 30 times brighter than zinc sulphide based products. Our powder is non-radioactive, non-toxic, organically inert and is safe to handle. Our matte binder has been specially formulated to provide a strong, durable fix on to the watch dial. It also allows UV to pass through so the lume powder can be fully charged. CHEMICAL MAKEUP Glow powder = Alkaline Rare Earth Metal Silicate-Aluminate Oxide Europium Doped - Non Toxic/Non Radioactive. Acrylic binder = 100 percent acrylic resin (matte finish) - Conforms to 71-3 - Certified Art and Craft material - Conforms to ASTM D-4236 - No health Labelling required. MORE ABOUT PHOSPHORESCENCE Phosphorescence is a specific type of photo-luminescence related to fluorescence. Unlike fluorescence, a phosphorescent material does not immediately re-emit the radiation it absorbs. The slower time scales of the re-emission are associated with "forbidden" energy state transitions in quantum mechanics. As these transitions occur very slowly in certain materials, absorbed radiation may be re-emitted at a lower intensity for up to several hours after the original excitation.
