Secure — When bad the weather comes, batten down the hatches for a comfortable night’s sleep. Or open both vestibules for fantastic views and excellent cross ventilation. Ultralight — The Lunar Duo offers no compromises, yet is less than half the weight of your traditional tent. The Lunar Duo offers the most interior room of any tent in its class and weight range. Dual curved poles located either side create a unique arched roof. Combined with a tent height of 45 inches and a width of 54 inches leaves so much interior space you've got room to spare. The Lunar Duo's two vestibules can be deployed to multiple positions. Fully open provides maximum cross ventilation, keeping you cool and those pesky mosquitoes at bay. They can be raised or lowered, insuring that you can achieve the optimum configuration for the weather you're likely to encounter. The Lunar Duo's vertical sidewalls prevent rain falling into the tent. With dual oversize vestibules, each person has plenty of weatherproof storage for gear. Tent Pole Type: Requires two poles. Either trekking poles or Six Moon Designs 45 inch carbon fiber tent poles (sold separately). Seam Sealing: This tent is not seam sealed. The Lunar Duo Explorer is a Silicone Nylon tent, To seam seal silicone nylon, you will need a silicone-based sealer. The silicone in the sealer will form a permanent bond with the silicone in the fabric and once seam-sealed, your tent will last for years. For Silicone Fabrics, we recommend using McNett's SilNet for sealing all seams of the Lunar Duo Explorer.
