Size Name:1 GALLON Insulating Primer #14 is a high quality, white pigmented latex primer/sealer, fortified with Hy-Tech’s ThermaCels™, which provide insulation and sound reduction, along with a uniform, easy to apply flat priming finish. It has been formulated for use on nearly all interior and exterior surfaces. It may be topcoated with most conventional latex or alkyd based products, but is designed for use as a system with other Hy-Tech fine finishes. Insulating Primer #14 is a water-reducible, alkali resistant primer ideally suited for sealing drywall without raising the paper fiber. Insulating Primer #14 offers fast drying, low odor, and may be used under all glosses (flat or high gloss). Insulating Primer #14 covers roughly 250-400 square feet per gallon. Application: Stir using a vigorous, lifting motion or shake thoroughly before using. Apply with brush, roller, conventional or airless spray equipment. Spray application: Remove all filters and use a .019-.021 tip. Drying Time: Dries dust free in 1 hour. May be recoated after 4 hours. Thinning: Formulated for use at package consistency. For application with spray equipment, some thinning may be required. Use only clean water and do not exceed 1 pint of water per gallon KEEP FROM FREEZING Do not apply when temperatures are below 50°F. Coatings should only be applied when ventilation is adequate.
