The Viso 2+ is a digital faced visual altimeter for those skydivers who prefer a digital display over a traditional analog display. Larsen & Brusgaard\'s Viso 2+ is the “goto” altimeter for skydivers world-wide. This digital hand altimeter includes an electronic logbook and the widest variety of additional mounting options from hand to wrist to chest. The Viso 2+ is an update on the history of the Viso and Viso 2, and includes these new additional features: HD High Contrast LCD Screen. 1mm Thicker, beefier case & 1mm thicker lens to reduce the possibility of breakage and cracking under normal use. Updated hardware components w/ a faster processor. Wider LCD viewing angle to lessen screen flicker and to allow a wider viewing angle as well as a better viewing in bright sunlight. The Viso 2+ will still fit into existing Viso 2 hand mounts, wrist mounts, holder pocket and a colorful line of Elastic Wrist Mounts. Apart from above mentioned features, Viso 2+ also includes: Rugged rubberized coating. Electro-luminescent & easy-to-use back light for night jumping. Can remain ON for several hours. Logbook with playback of altitude/speed profile for the last jump. Velcro black hand mount. Additional mounting options are available separately @ Scrisc store on Amazon.com The Viso 2+ also: Stores up to 10 minutes of detailed altitude information about the last jump for later review along with a daily jump counter. Has long lasting, easy to find batteries. L&B recommends using either 2 RENATA CR-2325 or 3 Volt batteries. Is Water resistant & operational at sub-zero temperatures. L&B premium hardware and software development has set the standard for audible altimeters around the globe.
