PoultryNet Plus differs from other nets because Plus has 15mm line posts every 6.8 ft instead of 10 -12 ft in other net fences. This means it's less likely to sag between posts and adapts more readily to curves, dips and rises. It's a 48" electrifiable prefabricated fence. It arrives at your door as a complete roll with the posts already built into the mesh/fence. Keeps in poultry, sheep, goats, cattle and guard dogs. Keeps out deer, bear, raccoons, rabbits, skunks, foxes, coyotes and stray dogs. The white vertical plastic strings are welded to black and white electro-plastic horizontal strings. They are supported by .6" white plastic PVC double staked posts, which are spaced throughout the netting. Each post has a 6" steel double spike that is to be inserted into the ground for support. Net has 12 horizontal strands (11 electrified) Horizontal spacings from bottom to top are 2", 2", 2", 2", 4", 4", 4", 6", 6", 8", 8". Net is highly conductive with stainless steel conductors and a tinned copper super conductor. Only 35 ohms of resistance per 1,000 ft of netting. Acceptable levels of electric conductivity on the fence can be difficult when low soil moisture conditions are present. If dry soil conditions occur frequently, a Pos/Neg (P/N) version of netting fence is strongly advised. FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. Energizer is not included.
