상품설명
The Focus Slim AL is an Italian-made razor produced from a single piece of aluminum. A perfectly balanced tool, it will rest upon its normal base as well as upon its 8.5x14.5mm front tip. The Focus Slim AL is ONLY designed to accept one half of a regular double-edge safety razor blade - it is NOT designed to use pre-cut 'saloon' blades. The reason for this is that there is no fixed standard within the industry for the THICKNESS of regular DE blades or "half" blades (though generally 'half' blades are thinner). The Slim Al is ONLY designed for use with regular DE blades snapped in half, with the bent tabs of the blade facing DOWN (= towards the base of the razor's head, not facing the sliding bit). By snapping a blade in paper and creating the small bend left behind, ANY blade will be held VERY tight, no matter the manufacturer or produced thickness. Snap a blade in half while in the paper, remove from paper, and insert the blade against the fixing posts with the bent shards of the blade's division point facing DOWN (away from the sliding mechanism). It is by intention an extremely snug fit, and if the bent shards are left to face up it will either not close at all or likely not close properly (too loose). If the shards face downward the razor WILL close successfully and hold any blade impeccably tight. The Slim AL has nothing to crack or rust, and at just 24 grams without blade it is very light, to provide you the feathery touch and angle control that will come with experience. Perhaps best of all, the Focus' head's wedge shape is designed to help stretch the skin and keep a low blade-to-skin cutting angle-simply lay the thickest part of the head upon the skin before moving perpendicular to the blade and keep some inward pressure (90° to blade direction) during the stroke to stretch for the cut and keep cutting angle acute. Supplied in decorative cardboard box and produced in Italy.
