상품설명
These are made with enriched malt extract agar and have lots of nutrients to promote nice mycelium growth. This is not a clear agar, you will see specks of nutrients, this is normal and is not contamination. Poured in our sterile laboratory under a laminar flow hood, cooled under UV light overnight, and individually wrapped in laboratory film. For growing mushrooms, keep the plates at room temperature or incubate at 20-25 °C for 3-5 days. If you reduce the temperature to below 4°C, it will slow the growth of your culture. Fungi grow more successfully at lower temperatures. Do not incubate at human body temperature (or above 30 °C) – this reduces the risk of culturing microbes that are pathogens to humans. If you are trying to grow bacteria and not fungi and are using higher temperatures, you will get condensation so you need to incubate the dishes upside down to prevent condensation dripping onto the culture. Don't leave them under high heat for too long or the agar will get thin, it will dry out and the culture will die. You may want to tape the dishes closed before incubation to ensure they cannot be opened accidentally. Place 2 or 4 short strips of adhesive tape at opposite edges of the dish. Do not seal the dishes completely as this may promote the growth of anaerobic pathogens or prevent normal growth by restricting diffusion of oxygen. We make these petri dishes 2-3 times a week so you will always get a fresh batch. Try to use them with in 30 days, don't let them get too old. Free First Class Shipping for USA buyers
