Make sure this fits by entering your model number.OUR PLATES ARE PRE-POURED. DON'T WASTE TIME POURING AGAR. The plates are pre-poured LB Miller Agar (LB). LB Miller Agar is the medium most commonly used for the growth and maintenance of Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains used in molecular microbiology procedures.THESE LB MILLER PLATES HAVE A SHELF LIFE OF AT LEAST 10 MONTHS, WHICH IS MORE THAN DOUBLE TODAY'S STANDARD AND ARE MANUFACTURED IN THE USA. Our plates won't crack or dry out. They have a thick layer of agar which promotes good growth, have been professionally packaged and vacuum sealed in a level 5 cleanroom for a longer shelf life.THIS PACKAGING PROCESS IS PATENT PROTECTED. We use a method of vacuum-packing our petri plates in an inert gas environment that enables long term storage of many types of petri plates at room temperature for two years or more without deterioration of the nutrient agar contained in the filled plates. Standard storage times and conditions for traditional, sleeve-packed petri plates are normally three months in a refrigerated environment.PLATE DIMENSIONS. The plates are 100mm in diameter x 15mm deep. The agar in the plates has a depth on average of 6-7mmDESCRIPTION: 1.0% Tryptone, 0.5% Yeast Extract, 1.0% NaCl, 1.5% Agar.
상품설명
Item Package Quantity:10 | Size:10-Pack LB Miller Agar is used for the growth of recombinant Escherichia coli (E. Coli) and for culturing enteric bacteria and facultative organisms. LB continues to be one of the most common media used for maintaining and cultivating laboratory recombinant strains of E. Coli. Peptides and peptones are provided by tryptone. Vitamins and certain trace elements are provided by yeast extract. Sodium ions for transport and osmotic balance are provided by sodium chloride. Tryptone is used tp provide essential amino acids to the growing bacteria, while the yeast extract is used to provide organic compounds helpful for bacterial growth.
