The MSR Revo Ascent Backcountry & Mountaineering Snowshoes for men and women are the most rugged technical snowshoe in the MSR line. Designed with superior traction for mountaineering, aggressive backcountry pursuits, and rugged terrain, they provide stability and durability in challenging conditions. The plastic ExoTract deck has steel teeth around the perimeter for grip, and steel crampons, with two fang-like teeth, for bite on traverses and steep slopes. PosiLock All-Terrain bindings create a secure, freeze-resistant attachment that is compatible with all types of footwear. Rugged, plastic decking offers rock-solid durability, and provides torsional flex and floatation, while a reinforced nose withstands kickstepping on steep ascents. Easy-to-engage Ergo Televator heel lifts offer help on the steeps, reducing fatigue. The MSR Revo Ascent Snowshoes are compatible with MSR Modular Floatation Tails (sold separately), for extra floatation when carrying heavier loads, or encountering changing snow conditions. Available in two sizes to accommodate a range of body weights/gear loads: 22-inch snowshoes measure 8 x 22 inches, weigh 4.3 pounds/pair, and carry a 180-pound load; 25-inch snowshoes measure 8 x 25 inches, weigh 4.6 pounds/pair, and carry up to 220 pounds.
