Mammut Mercury III Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boots Head off hiking with the Mercury III Mid GORE-TEX: The shoe retains its stability and durability thanks to the Terracare nubuck leather, which is sustainably produced in Germany. Terracare leather is made with minimal use of water, electricity from renewable energy sources and state-of-the-art production methods. This modern-looking hiking shoe from our Light Hiking series impresses with its supple, grippy Vibram Frog Grip sole and cushioning 3D memo foam in the lining and individual insole. Terracare Upper Constructed using eco-friendly Terracare leather, the Mercury III is a light and stable whilst giving you the protection of any hiking boot. The Terracare leather has been uniquely produced using state-of-the-art methods with minimal water use and electricity which has been used to construct this boot is from renewable energy sources showing. This soft Terracare leather has been given a GORE-TEX finish, making this boot completely waterproof, whilst being waterproof this boot is also breathable allowing sweat to escape through the tongue keeping your feet well insulated as well as cool and dry. Furthering the waterproofing on the shoe is the elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction ensuring that water can't get in from the top either keeping all parts of your feet well protected. The upper also comes with Liquid Rubber Protection including a heel counter as well as a toe protector both working together to keep your feet well protected from tougher terrain. 3D Memofoam has been added at the top of the ankle on the boot, this gives you additional comfort with the shoe contouring perfectly to your feet allowing you to make these boots your own.
