Conditions that may lead to foot drop may include hemiplegia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, weakness of weak anterior tibialis muscle, lower motor neuron (LMN) disease, and some other conditions. The splint can also be used for post-op immobilization after tendon surgery.The ankle foot orthosis is made of lightweight durable thermoplastic material and features an anatomical leaf spring design with variable thickness throughout the splint.
