The SCARPA Men’s SL Active Backpacking Boot might be reminiscent of the 90s, but this pair is pretty futuristic. Though it’s a sturdy boot made to support your feet and ankles under the weight of your heavy pack, the SL Active is comfortably supple and surprisingly lightweight. Not only is the boot’s upper made of full-grain leather, but SCARPA incorporated a bit of leather in the lining, in conjunction with a 37.5 Technology fabric lining, to ensure your feet stay cool and dry. Add all that onto a grippy, durable Vibram outsole, and you’ve got a boot that can handle everything from the Appalachian Trail to the Tour Du Mont Blanc.
