상품특징
Make sure this fits by entering your model number.SEAL DUCT WORK: IAQ-8000 is ideal for sealing unlined ductwork and reinforcing duct board insulation materials. This coating helps prevent fiberglass and inanimate particulate from becoming airborne.MOISTURE RESISTANT: This paint has a semi-gloss finish that is flexible, durable, and moisture resistant. IAQ-8000 minimizes the dust and mold growth formed on the coating surface.MAXIMUM BRIDGING: High viscosity gives our formula excellent bridging ability on insulation materials. It reduces sagging and dripping when applied to the vertical and top surfaces of an unlined duct.EASY TO USE: Mix IAQ-8000 thoroughly, and apply to surfaces with a brush, a roller, or an airless or robotic spray applicator. The sealant takes 1 – 2 hours to dry. Re-coating takes 8 – 16 hours.MEETS PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: IAQ-8000 meets the requirements of the NFPA 90A/90B standard. Additionally, it is ASTM E-84 Class A fire-rated, making it safe for all your construction projects.
상품설명
IAQ-8000 is an HVAC sealer that helps ensure that your duct system is working efficiently. This durable, protective coating seals duct liner insulation on indoor or outdoor ducting, which helps repair and eliminate any air leaks. With this 5-gallon bucket of IAQ-8000, your HVAC system can maintain consistent temperatures and operate with more energy efficiency. Use IAQ-8000 to bridge and reinforce duct liner or duct board insulation materials. Apply it to unlined duct work prior to component removal to seal the system. The sealant has a high viscosity, so it provides maximum bridging ability on insulation materials and reduces sagging and dripping when applied to the vertical and top surfaces of unlined duct. To apply IAQ-8000, clean the ductwork and remove dust and loose particulate. But be careful not to damage the insulation. Mix the sealant until it has a uniform consistency. Use a brush, roller, airless spray applicator, or robotic spray applicator to apply IAQ-8000 to any surface. One coat should be sufficient if applied by airless spray, and 2 coats may be required if applied by brush. Circulate fresh air through the HVAC system to help dry the liquid paint and exhaust air outside the building. If this is the first application of IAQ-8000, expect 1–2 hours for drying. However, re-coating may take 8–16 hours to fully dry. Clean tools and drippings with warm soapy water before duct sealant dries. IAQ-8000 meets ASTM standard C-411 “Hot Surface Performance of a Coating on Glass Fiber Blanket Insulation,” ASTM E-84 Class A fire rating, and requirements of NFPA 90A/90B standard. For best results, store in a dry place at temperatures between 40°F and 90°F. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Close container after each use. Keep from freezing.
