상품설명
MAX DIAMOND CLEAR A/B is a cycloaliphatic based, premium-grade epoxy resin system for applications where color stability & low yellowing is desired. Cycloaliphatic epoxy is used in optical cable splicing and electron microscopy specimen encapsulation due to its absolute transparency, and low refractive index. Unlike standard epoxy resins, MAX DIAMOND CLEAR utilizes high-quality cylcloalipahtic resins that are more resistant to UV degradation from sunlight exposure. MAX DIAMOND CLEAR A/B works well as a protective and decorative coating for wood, metals and other substrates. It offers crystal clarity, gloss, chemical resistance, toughness, adhesion and color stability compared to standard epoxy resins. MAX DIAMOND CLEAR A/B is suitable for casting applications. MAX DIAMOND CLEAR also works well for other applications such as coating and bonding use, carbon fiber impregnating resin applications and other applications where its color stability is desired. It is mixed 2:1 and the mixed viscosity is similar to glycerine or cooking oil. The mixture is self-leveling and it is poured or injected to place. It offers a slow cure and low exothermic heat conducive for thick casting and large volume curing. Upon cure, MAX DIAMOND CLEAR is transparent clear that can be polished to a higher luster or lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper or abrasive pad to reduce surface gloss. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Density: 1.09 Grams/CC Form & Appearance: Clear Liquid Gardner Color Scale: 0 Mix Ratio: 2:1 Mixed Viscosity: 1,700 cPs @ 77°F Working Time: 90 Min @77°F-200 Gram Mass Peak Exotherm: 195°F @90 Min-200 Gram Mass/8 Fl.Oz Dry To The Touch: 6 to 8 Hours @77°F Handle Time: 24 Hours @ 75°F Full Cure Time: 3 to 4 days @ 75°F Accelerated Cure Time: 4 To 6 Hours
