상품설명
Framing Squares Just Don’t Cut It. Conventional framing squares may be OK for construction jobs where “square” means in the neighborhood of 90°. As most woodworkers know, framing squares simply can’t be trusted in tight tolerance shop work and can be difficult to use. A Square So Good Its Guaranteed! Woodpeckers large-sized Precision Woodworking Squares offer accuracy that’s so good, it’s guaranteed. How precise? Our squares are machined and quality checked to be dead square within .0085 degrees or better. That amounts to about .001" per foot. Work with Confidence. With our 26" x 16" (2616) Precision Framing Square and 18" x 12" model you can confidently set up track saws or straight edge devices for sawing or routing operations. You know you’ll make a square cut every time. Unmatched Precision and Finest Quality Materials. Our Precision Framing Squares start the manufacturing process as a solid piece of cast aluminum tool and jig plate. This stable material is then carefully machined in our cutting-edge CNC machinery. The result is a single-piece blade and handle that’s made square and will stay square. Two pieces of precision-machined aluminum form the cheeks of the handle. These cheeks are affixed with stainless steel dowel pins that ensure bulletproof rigidity and perfect alignment when pressed into their precision-machined holes. This kind of strength and accuracy simply cannot be matched by conventional framing squares. QUALITY CONTROL. We’re so confident in our quality control that we guarantee our squares to ±0.0085 degrees. Features Galore. The blades are ¼" thick and the handle is a full ¾". The inside edge of the handle features a shoulder so it will lay flat on the work while still registering against the panel edge. The thick handle makes it easy to stand the blade upright to check square on cabinet inside corners hands-free. Easy to read measurement scales are laser etched in 1/16th increments on both sides of the blade
