We use a soft, inherently FR blend which can be washed at home and will shrink less than 5%. We also make it safe to wear against your skin. We also add a fleece lining to make it super soft and to help keep you warm and hold in body heat as temperatures drop.INHERENT FIRE RETARDANT PROPERTIES: The multi-hazard arc and flame-resistant properties of the BENCHMARK FR Hooded Flame-Resistant Zip-Up Sweatshirt will not change regardless of the number of wash and wear cycles. Our FR hoodie is lightweight and comfortable, it also provides HRC/CAT Level 2 protection with a 19 cal sq/cm rating and meets or exceeds NFPA 70E compliant and ASTM F1506 standards. It is safe to wear against your skin and you can wash it at home or at the industrial laundry.MADE IN THE USA: We make all our flame-resistant zip up hoodies in the U.S.A.
