Our calf coats help you save money by lessening the amount of feed required to keep your calves warm and healthy. Bettermilk Amundco calf coats are made with a water-resistant, rugged rip-stop outer shell and a comfortable nylon Hollofil inner lining. The coat also has adjustable leg straps and a velcro front closure to ensure that your calves a comfortable, snug fit with their calf coats. We have two sizes (Jersey and Holstein) of calf coats to ensure that you get the proper fit for your calves. Why Calf Coats?? In the first 6 weeks of life, a calf's THERMONEUTRAL ZONE is 50-78 degrees Fahrenheit. What is a thermoneutral zone, you say? The thermoneutral zone is the safe range of temperatures that a calf may be exposed to WITHOUT expending additional energy.
