Once you get used to cradling the frame only while sliding the blade, normal use should become fast and easy!RAZOR BLADE FITMENT — In the locked position, this utility knife should fit most ALL razor blades, but in the closed position, only a few razor blades will engage behind the locking pin. Several that do lock behind the pin include the Husky 1000040984 utility blade and the DeWalt DWHT11011 Large Hook Blade. The edges are rounded slightly so this pocket knife is still comfortable to carry. The sliding mechanism for this utility knife requires pressure to be applied against the blade which then in turn presses against spring-formed titanium as you slide the blade into the desired position. Most razor blades can be moved into 2 different positions as seen in the attached image on this listing. There are 3 different notch settings if you use a 4-notch Titanium Lenox utility knife blade.
