Oxygenated designs, manufactures, and sells products to assist pulmonary patients with their use of portable oxygen tanks and improve their quality of life. Our CEO and principal inventor is Elaine M. Concklin. Elaine earned her BA in education and biology in 1978 and her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware. Elaine has worked in cardiac rehab and pulmonary rehab for 22 years. She has also operated her private business providing patients with advice and consultation with respect to personal functional movement and clinical advocacy for over 30 years. Her private business focuses on working with the geriatric population who have had joint replacements and or COPD and cardiac issues. In her work with patients using portable oxygen, she has observed the difficulties experienced by patients with managing their portable oxygen tanks (D and E tanks). For example, she became acutely aware that the green metal tanks themselves are an eyesore which patients do not want to embrace using in public, are cold and difficult to handle, are difficult to stack/store with other tanks, do not have any means for storing personal items. Our “Tank Glove” fits easily over the portable oxygen tank, with the help of an oversized zipper, without obscuring the regulator and its flow meter. The Glove includes a pocket for storing personal items like a cell phone, inhaler, keys, etc. and a magnetic flap and tab for storing unused length of nasal cannula. The Glove comes in two sizes: one for the “D” tank and one for the “E” tank. The “D” size can also be used with a "wine bottle" tank. The glove for the small "D" tank comes with a comfort shoulder strap for easy carry of the tank. The Glove comes in three different colors to permit patients to stylize their individual tank. These products are designed to improve patient compliance with their oxygen prescriptions.
