Make sure this fits by entering your model number.Amaryllis belladonna, the Jersey lily, belladonna-lily, naked-lady-lily, or March lily, is a plant species native to Cape Province in South Africa but widely cultivated as an ornamental. It is reportedly naturalized in many places: Corsica, Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, Scilly Isles of Great Britain, Republic of Congo, Ascension Island, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Chile, California, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi & Juan Fernández Islands.Amaryllis Belladonna is the true amaryllis, although the name is also commonly given to unrelated hippeastrum bulbs, which are grown indoors over winter. Amaryllis belladonna is a late-summer flowering bulb, bearing showy flowers on naked stems, before strap-like leaves appear in autumn. Grow it in large clumps, where its flowers can be fully appreciated. It makes a great planting partner for silver-grey leaved plants such as caryopteris.Perennial bulbous geophyte with one to two erect solid stems which appear in late summer. The inflorescence bears 2–12 showy fragrant funnel-shaped flowers on a \'naked\' (leafless) stem, which gives it the common name of naked-lady-lily. The pink flowers which may be up to 10cm in length, appear in the autumn before the leaves (hysteranthy) which are narrow and strap shaped.Amaryllis belladonna performs best in climates with warm, dry summers. A location with a protected southern exposure is ideal. Plant the bulbs in well-drained soil, about 6 to 12 inches (15 to 30.5 cm.) apart. Site the bulbs just below the surface of the soil if you live in a cold winter climate. If you live in a climate where temps remain above 15 F. (-9 C.), plant the bulbs so the tops are level with the surface of the soil, or slightly above. This plant produces its leaves after flowering. The fragrant flowers appear on "naked" stems. The plant dislikes dividing. If divided, it may not boom for several years. It can be transplanted. The best time for transplanting is in the fall after the plant blooms and the leaves are emerging. Plant with the tip just showing or barely covered. USDA Zone: 7-10
