상품설명
Characteristics The leaves of the adansonii are smaller and have a higher number of holes than the Monstera deliciosa. The leaves are a bright, verdant green and they grow on long vine-like stems that can climb or trail. Native Environment Primarily native to Central and South America, it can also be found in the Caribbean West Indies. The leaves of the adansonii resist the environment\'s high winds and allow light to shine through to the plants below. Naming Monstera adansonii is a member of the Araceae family and is also known as Adanson\'s monstera, the Swiss cheese plant, trailing split–leaf, or five holes plant. Care Instructions Water: Likes moisture, but does not like to be soggy or waterlogged. Allow soil to dry out about 75% between watering. Light: Prefers light conditions that mimic its native rainforests and river valleys. Bright, indirect light will allow the adansonii to thrive. Soil A well draining all purpose soil mix with good water retention properties will keep the Monstera adansonii happy. The addition of peat moss and orchid bark will help to hold moisture but still allow the roots to breath while added perlite will aerate the soil and ensure that excess water can drain. For the best success, use soil with a pH of 5.5 to 7.0. Fertilizer Monsteras consume a low to moderate level of nutrients, and will thrive with balanced all purpose fertilizer at half strength used twice a month throughout spring and summer. Temperature and Humidity This plant will grow best between 65°F and 85°F. Ideal humidity should be above 50%, but it will tolerate humidity levels as low at 40%.
