Celebrate sakura season through the work of talented textile designer, Yuri Himuro. Sakura has long symbolized springtime rebirth, as well as the fragile and transitory nature of all things. Yuri’s woven artwork captures a moment of joy and reflection, providing you with space to transform fleeting inspiration into long-lasting projects and plans. The motif of each textile cover is inspired by Ueno Park in cherry blossom season – a place close to Yuri’s heart; each cover shows a different scene which, when placed side by side, show the park in its entirety. The premium Collector’s Box and Limited Edition Notebook inside are both covered with Yuri’s unique SNIP SNAP fabric. SNIP SNAP is a double-layer fabric that can be cut to reveal the second layer beneath. This playful technique allows users to personalize the notebook cover by simply removing certain threads to uncover cherry blossom or making slits to add threedimensional texture. The Collector’s Box comes with test fabric to practice, an envelope to store loose threads, and a poster of Yuri’s artwork showing Ueno Park in its entirety.
