First Strike Rations (FSR) are specialized, high-energy food rations designed for military personnel who may need to operate in a combat and/or survival situation for several days. These rations are compact, lightweight, and provide a balanced mix of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to sustain soldiers in the field. FSRs are intended to provide soldiers with a self-contained source of food and nutrition that can be easily carried in a backpack or survival kit.
