This particular item features the Birch Light shell type, which is a rare variant with a 12-ply, 7mm birch shell. Unlike the heavier shells known for their mellow and rich sound, this light shell offers an open, expansive, and robust tone. The drum is equipped with a Macassar Ebony veneer, a parallel action strainer system, and original full-contact snare wires.
