1884 Hampden 18 Size Key Wind, 7 Jewels, Fancy Coin Silver Case. Just Restored!

We just restored & serviced this real nice antique 1884 Hampden Watch Co. Springfield, Mass. seven jewels, eighteen size key wind and set pocket watch with a 2-ounce coin silver case. It's now in very good looking & excellent running condition. 

The eighteen size, Springfield Grade, Model No. 1 key wind & set full plate movement has seven jewels, a safety pinion and fancy lettering. We professionally serviced it recently and it runs strong. The low production serial number is 338462 which dates it to 1884. 

The single-sunk porcelain enameled dial with large black Roman Numerals is in excellent original condition with some very small, faint hairlines. The matching Spade style black painted steel hands are in excellent condition. The Newport 2-ounce Coin Silver case was lightly buffed and is in very good to excellent condition, just has some light pocket wear. The hinges are fine and the covers close tight. 

The new old antique stock domed glass crystal is in fine condition. The approximate case measurements are 2-1/16 inches in diameter (not including the pendant) x 3/4 inch thick including the crystal. The silver bow is tight and in good condition with some worn engraving. 

A modern key on a short bead chain is included with your watch. This is another real nice restored antique timepiece, great for your everyday carry or would make a nice gift! (My pictures have some unavoidable shadows, reflections and dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person). We professionally service & time our watches for dependability and longevity (unless sold as-is). Please note that a vintage watch may not be as accurate as a modern watch.
