A little bit about this particular version of the divine comedy by Dante:

1906 edition of Dante Alighieri's Divina Commedia (Divine Comedy) in Italian with fantastic illustrations by Gustave Doré, published by La Società Editrice Sonzogno (Milan), and with commentary by Eugenio Camerini. 679 pages & 135 illustrations

Books condition:

Unfortunately this book is in poor condition all around, it has tears, it has discoloration, it’s missing leather on the binding, it has stains and I believe it may be missing a page or two from the very beginning of the book in which would have the publisher information and title

Also the book is very fragile!

The books front and rear hardcover are unfortunately ripped off!

To my understanding I could only find 1 other like this sold, this is very rare publishing/printing of the divine comedy!

I believe it is from 1906 and the book is printed in Italian

Open to reasonable offers!
