Description

This listing is for a vintage religious wrought iron lamp base/candelabra

Wrought iron electric light/lamp base (wires removed, not working)

2 Wrought iron lamp arms with beautifully crafted roses on vines. Large crucifix back with brass hanging Jesus figure

Push button at the front

It can free stand or be hung on a wall as has 2 holes/fixing points.

Fabulous aged weathered and worn look.

Perfect Gothic interior, or ecclesiastical decor

Circa 1940-1960’s

Believed to be French, but the piece is unmarked and I’m unable to find anything quite like it. So it’s possible hand made/scratch built or made to order.

Condition Report

The lamp base is vintage and has been well used, stored and forgotten

It’s had the wiring removed so it currently does not work as an electric lamp. Would need a professional to re wire safely

There appears to be no damaged parts. And also seems to be complete. Does have a pin above Jesus which may have had a plaque or something similar

It is vintage, it does have lots of wear scratches knocks dents marks ……….

The metal has tarnishing rust spots

It has had a very gently wipe/dust as to leave the years of wear/patina/age

So It is grubby/dusty

It has not been fully deep cleaned.
