Vintage US Military Officers Nash Mess Kit Dishes/Flatware w/Chest

2 S & P shakers w/can opener a P38 (sm brown metal item)

1 large serving platter

2 serving bowls

Coffee pot

Sugar bowl

8 Coffee Cups (one brand is FE&S, the handle's spot welding on the bottom hasn't held, but is still very sturdy on the cup)

8 each of Forks, Knives, Teaspoons, Tablespoons

**This set is complete.**

I did notice brands Nash and Mirro, there may one or two more.

There are some surface marks from use (mostly the plates) and/or storage over the years on some items; some items have never been used but may have surface scratches from being pulled in and out.

The coffee pot is in good condition and the sugar bowl looks new.

The large platter looks brand new.

I do notice a hole in the metal in the top lid near the front, hubby says there was probably a rivet originally where the leather strap that holds the flatware had been replaced.

The crate itself is in very good solid condition, painted red somewhere along the line, maybe even a couple times and the wood inside looks very good.

The metal handles are very sturdy and I do notice a metal loop under one of the hatches where you could put a padlock.

The crate measures 13 5/8" x 15 5/8" x 17 5/8" and weighs 40 lbs unboxed.
