Really nice original made in Italy Silva perforated handle bar tape from the mid-90’s and as well known for the great quality and easily a rival to Cinelli, Ambrosio, ITM, 3TTT
Still in the original box with two rolls which is enough for one set of drop or racing handlebars from the classic era of colnago, bianchi , basso, pinarello, Daccordi or any other kind of classic racing bicycle.
Included are the two lovely Silva bar end plugs which are rare to find in this style. Classic Italian design.
Cork bar tape was common from the mid 80’s up until the gravel bike era.
This tape has a lovely perforated design and is claimed to be absorbent to sweat etc.
Although described as cork it’s just textured foam really and some brands actually have little bits of cork added just to get around EU rules.
Some very minor scuffs to the box and a little tear in the cardboard at the side window.
