This is an extremely nice Trek 970 Frame and fork. The frame is beautifully lugged and made in the USA from True Temper AT Double Butted Chromoly Tubes.

1” head tube for 1” quill stem! This is extremely hard to find! In fact this is the only one I’ve ever come across.

The original fork and Tange headset are included.

I estimate the year of manufacture as approximately 1990.

The original red paint shines nicely and remains vibrant with no fading. There are some minor chips and scratches (see photos).

The frame set has no dents, no dings, and no major scrapes. The bottom bracket threads are in excellent condition, as is the derailleur hanger.

The frame is a 20” model. Seat tube measures approximately 19.5” center to center and the top tube measures approximately 22.3” center to center.
