Important Notice Regarding DC Power Supply

While the 215 Heritage bicone EXC speaker's specifications state that it can be used with a DC voltage of 0 to 12V, exceeding the rated upper limit or using it continuously near the upper limit voltage will cause an extremely large current to flow, as mentioned above. This can lead to heat buildup in the speaker's excitation coil, potentially damaging the speaker.

Based on experience, this system achieves optimal damping when using a DC voltage of around 6V to 7V.

Leaving the DC power supply on when the speaker is not in use can cause heat to build up inside the speaker, potentially shortening its lifespan. Always turn off the DC power supply when the speaker is not in use. Linking the power amplifier and the speaker to "Off" can prevent forgetting to turn it off. The voltage will be approximately 5V when the power adjustment volume is at its minimum.
