상품 설명

Offered here is a Ceramic Tile Panel or Wall hanging depicting the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ .

This Wall Plaque shows Jesus on the Cross or Crucifix and it is in a tube line Ceramic Pottery .

It is Signed by the Artist , and the signature reads YUNN .

We believe this was Made in France between c1890 and c1910 , it is in the Art Nouveau / Modernist style but has an angular feel as would have been used in the Art Deco period .

It is difficult to date exactly , but it is a RARE piece .

This is made from Tubelined Art Pottery . It has good detail , and is probably French , we cannot find anything about the YUNN Signature . If anyone does have any detail could you please let us know.

We feel that this is an exceptional piece so would be interested to find out anything more .

The tile , or panel is in excellent condition with nothing major . There is a minor graze to the left hand side of the bottom edge that someone has coloured at some stage .

A piece of board has been added at a later stage to the back so this can be hung on your wall in relief , there is a brass hanger attached . The original wire hanger is underneath this .

The entire piece measures 11.25 inches x 4.5 inches and it is ready to hang on your wall.

It is a lovely piece and perfect for anyone interested in Christianity or the Christian Religion and religious collecables, or would be a great addition to an architectural tile collection.
