Zipp Beam Bike – Time Trial / Triathlon Setup
This is a Zipp beam-style time trial bike. It’s been sitting for quite a while, so it will need a basic tune-up before regular riding, but it’s a very unique and fast platform.

Frame / Fit Info:
I am not a bike mechanic, but based on measurements and fit, this appears to be a larger frame. The bike has 700c wheels, which were typically used on larger Zipp beam frames (smaller frames were usually 650c).
I’m 6’0”, and at proper riding height I cannot touch the ground while seated—I have to come off the saddle. That, along with the overall geometry and reach, points toward a larger setup rather than a small frame.
Because of the beam design, there is a wide range of adjustability in the saddle position. Realistically, this bike should fit someone roughly in the 5’10” to 6’4” range depending on setup, leg length, and riding style.
You really need to see it in person to appreciate the overall condition and how clean it is.
Important:
If the bike does not sell by April 15, it will not be available to view or purchase again until around December 15. It is kept at my Florida home in The Villages (the largest retirement community in the world), and I’ll be heading back there after that date.
