상품 설명

This is a WWII M-42 reversible mountain parka as used by the 10th Mountain Division and OSS troops during the war. The tag is long gone, so based on the measurements I estimate this parka to be a size Small (see measurements below). This parka is in heavily used, fair condition. It is still serviceable, but it is heavily stained on both sides. The white side in particular is very stained, which is not surprising after 80 years. There is a small hole near the armpit on the right sleeve (pictured). All the buttons appear to be present. This parka did not have the fur trim, or it was removed.

Interestingly, the parka's white side seams were reinforced (or decorated) with a red trim along the seams. My best guess is that this was a sort of "hippy" decoration to make the parka less military in appearance, or this was applied in order to sell the parka in a ski shop. Regardless, this decorative touch makes this less of a militaria item than a cool vintage item.

If you don't mind the vintage patina, this parka has a ton of life left in it for use in hiking and skiing!
