This vintage HLD-581RH snare drum features a unique parallel action strainer that functions smoothly. Please note there is damage to the protrusion that secures the snappy (as shown in photo 20, red circle). The damaged part is chipped and missing the original fragment, which may affect snare tension. Temporary use with tape is possible, but professional welding repair is recommended. The bolt at the blue circle in photo 20 is a non-original hex socket bolt replacing the original knurled handle bolt, requiring a metric hex wrench for adjustment. All 24 key bolts are genuine, though one washer differs and some washers show minor rust. The shell and metal parts have minor nicks and scratches but are generally in fair condition. No case or tuning key is included; a dedicated flathead screwdriver is recommended for adjustments near the snappy guard.
