I recently bought a used pair of Acoustic Research AR2ax speakers and decided to upgrade the grill cloth. When I removed the grills, I found that the woofers had been replaced by the previous owner with this pair he purchased from eBay. They are still being sold -- you can easily find the ad for yourself. Being a stickler for originality, I removed these and put in an original AR pair of woofers. Honestly, after months of listening, the AR originals are no better than these were, so you are getting a tried and tested pair of working AR2ax woofers with this purchase for a lot less money than the AR originals. I've included a picture showing one installed in my AR2ax -- they fit perfectly and align with the original screw holes. No disappointments.
